Wellness experience
An authorial retreat, signed by Philippe Starck. Visionary and revolutionary, Starck has always conceived design as a tool to improve people’s lives. By designing the Ha(a)ïtza Hotel, in the heart of the Arcachon Bay, the star architect created a place where hospitality is transformed into experience. Here, emotion, wellbeing and contemplation intertwine in a constant dialogue with the surrounding nature.
The hotel, which elegantly reinterprets the neo-Basque architecture typical of the region, opened its doors in 2016: 38 rooms, three restaurants, a cocktail bar overlooking the pool, a fitness room and a Codagespa, a simulacrum of beauty where the art of wellbeing becomes a contemporary ritual.

The Ha(a)ïtza Spa welcomes guests with exclusive treatments by Codage, combining science and naturalness in a philosophy dedicated to the wellbeing of skin and soul. In this setting, the elegance of the Pearl by C.O.D.E. massage tables finds its place: pure shapes, metal finishes, a minimalist design that furnishes with discretion and refinement. Every detail is designed to enhance the holistic experience: from the double-layer “Nuvola” mattress in soft eco-leather, to the ergonomic anti-pressure face hole, all the way to the total comfort that supports the therapist’s work and the guest’s relaxation.
Alongside the refinement of Pearl, the S_02 tables by SKYY in total white also find their place. Plateau, base and mattress interact with the spa’s essential style, creating visual continuity and aesthetic coherence. Here too, technology becomes experience. The S_02 tables by SKYY feature an infrared system inside to heat the table surface, stimulate circulation and promote muscle relaxation, as well as the 360° Immersive Sound System, a system that envelops the guest in a bubble of sound, transforming every treatment into a multisensory journey.
